I've been taking pictures for awhile, but I never got into to it when I was young. My father (also into photography) received a new Milota AF MAXXUM 500si as a Christmas present from my mother and I used it on multiple occuations (parties, holidays and what not). During the spring of ' 98, my neighbor (Steve H. the Sterling columnist) asked me if he wanted to have me work for the Landmark by taking pictures that related to his articles, he wrote each week. I said sure and I began working there, I made some good money ($15) for every shoot I went on. During my stay at the Landmark I began to appreciate photography more and I began to take lots of photo's on my own. Not just point and click photo's but much better than that. Soon after I was hooked on photography and my father rarely is seen using it. So I "own" it though I didn't pay for it. A couple months later, I began purchasing some equipment and books to learn more about the art of photography. I started off small, buying various colored and effects filters and then building up to new lens and camera releases (sadly enough, extremely expensive for a piece of plastic), etc...During the summer I decided to take a photography class in Worcester, MA (Craft Center) with a friend of mine (Ben). We had fun...it was a two day a week for 5 weeks course. Which was quite useful, cause I learned a lot about black and white photography and how to print and develope film. Also there was a couple lovely ladies that we were able to meet. We had assisgnments for the week such as, use slow exposures, depth of field and others. Well the class was a success for Ben and I and many of these images on the site are from the class. Also my name is Keith Tuttle (if you didn't know) and there is a simple short URL for this site WWW.KEITHTUTTLE.CJB.NET just so you don't have to type all that stuff to get here. Later.
